Indian Astrological Charts
Horos.me is an ongoing research and development project for an astrological program based on the ancient Indian Vedic tradition.
Charts are drawn on an HTML5 canvas in 'North Indian' style.
An ascendant clock and planet positions are called from a Jet Propulsion Labs (JPL) API for best accuracy
Databases for Transits, Planets, Yogas, Readings, Vedic calculations
An horlog based on the sidereal positions of the planets.
Project Scope
Currently under development, the Horos.me site is being designed
as a real-time astrological clock based on the Vedic tradition.
Integrating the JavaScript Sun Table Calculator by Juergen Giesen, Jan Tošovský's Horologium, astronomy.js by Don Cross, and the JPL API, custom scripts were written to perform some of the thousands of calculations that are done to produce as accurate as possible a Vedic Astrological Clock tracking rising and setting times for stars and planets on the sidereal scale.
